THE WARM UP

This consists of a light jog and shadow boxing activating all the large muscle groups ready for this intense workout.

BAG WORKOUT

This is an intense bag work routine designed to increase strength and stamina.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Mainly consisting of body weight exercises mixed up with shadow boxing.

  • ENHANCED CARDIOVASULAR HEALTH

    As long as you keep your heart rate up during your workout, there’s no reason you can’t punch your way to a healthy heart.

  • IMPROVED TOTAL-BODY STRENGTH

    Incorporating strength training moves into our boxing workout with squats, pushups, planks and various other exercises boosting your body strength.

  • BETTER HAND-EYE COORDINATION

    The importance of hand-eye coordination has an effect on your total health and plays a vital role in your fine and gross motor skills. Those are the small and big muscles in your body.

  • DECREASED STRESS

    All exercise will increase endorphin's and boost your mood. It works as a form of meditation, and improves sleep, all of which help reduce stress. The POWER HOUR intense physical activity can decrease stress.

  • IMPROVED BODY COMPOSITION

    Boxing is a great mechanism for improved body composition because it perfectly combines muscle-building strength training moves and calorie-torching bouts of cardio.

  • WHAT DO I WEAR

    Normal gym wear but it is bare foot on our mates due to it being a martial arts/boxing club.

  • WHAT TO BRING

    You need a towel and plenty of water.

  • TIMES

    Tuesday 8pm - 9pm

    Saturday 9am - 10am
