Round One Boxing Membership

Terms of the Agreement

NOTE:

Cancelling your direct debit before your agreement term does not cancel your membership and may incur further costs.

1. Period of Agreement
1.1 Your membership will start on the date of setup. This is the day you setup your membership. (can be found on the “Direct Debit confirmation from Round One Boxing” email)
1.2 Adults (12 month) and Youth (12 month) agreements have a minimum term of 12 months.
1.3 Adults (7 month) and Youth (7 month) agreements have a minimum term of 7 months.
1.4 Adults (1 month) and Youth (1 month) agreements have a minimum term of 1 months
1.5 All agreements will continue until such time as you shall give the appropriate notice period to cancel as detailed below.
1.6 Prices may be reviewed annually after the agreement period shown in this agreement has expired.

2. Attendance
2.1 This agreement guarantees your placement at Round One Boxing and you can attend unlimited sessions that appear on our timetable.
2.2 You are not entitled to any refunds for non-attendance’s.

3. Cancellation
3.1 Memberships cannot be cancelled prior to the agreement period that you have signed up for and the last payment has been made.
3.2 All agreements can be cancelled once the final payment has been made; this requires 1 month’s notice in writing to support@focusma.co.uk. The cancellation period will start from your next payment date and not before.
3.3 In the event permanent injury or permanent illness, this agreement and the obligations under it will be cancelled on production of a medical certificate issued by a doctor
3.4 If circumstances prevent you from giving notice prior to cancelling your direct debit you agree to pay ONE ADDITIONAL MONTHLY FEE in addition to any fees already paid at the time of cancellation. Note that no refunds will be given where payments have been made and the member has not attended classes.
3.5 If you cancel your membership and want to re-join there will be a £49 re-joining admin charge.

3.6 You may cancel your membership within your membership commitment period for the reasons set out in 3.6.1 to 3.6. only. We may require you to produce satisfactory proof.

- 3.6.1    Pregnancy
- 3.6.2    Serious illness
- 3.6.3    Serious injury
- 3.6.4    If you move house more than 10 miles from any club
- 3.6.5    Redundancy
- 3.6.6    If Government lock down requiring our club to close and you have been laid of or made redundant and are not receiving any
income.
- 3.6.7    You will not be able to cancel if you are furloughed and being paid by any Government scheme.

4. Payment
4.1 You must pay the monthly payments to us on the dates stated in this Agreement
4.2 If you fail to pay the whole or any part of the money payment one time, we may charge interest on that sum at four percent above the banks base rate from the date until it is paid.

5. If You Break This agreement
5.1 If you break any terms of this agreement and fail to comply with a default notice sent to you in respect of that breach, we may require you to pay us immediately the whole sum for the notice period together with any outstanding amounts

6. Expenses
6.1 You must pay us on demand such sums as we may notify you from time to time in respect of cheques and direct debit payments which are received by us or claimed by us in respect of this Agreement and which are unpaid, returned or recalled.

7. Information About You
7.1 You must notify us in writing of any change in your home address or any other information given by you in connection with this agreement.
7.2 We may record or monitor telephone conversation with you for training and research purposes.
7.3 We may record you on video in any classes you attend and use them for promotion of Round One Boxing on our website and or any social media such as Facebook, YouTube etc.

8. Temporary Illness or Pregnancy
8.1 In the event of pregnancy, illness or injury lasting 3 months or more we can arrange for your monthly payments to be suspended providing we receive notice in writing together with a note from your doctor.
8.2 It is agreed that this contract and the terms contained in this Agreement can only be varied in writing, signed by an administrator of Round One Boxing.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
9.1 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notice at any time.

10. Communication
10.1 All communication must be emailed to support@focusma.co.uk

11.Lockdown & Online Sessions
11.1 If Government force a lock down and we have to close our club then we will supply our service online through Zoom or any media we choose.
11.2 You may not cancel your membership due to any lock down unless we do not provide minimum of 4 online training sessions each week until to club is officially back open.
11.3 If you cancel your membership, we have the right to take recovery action set out in section 5.1
